MV Oktavia is offering live-aboard trips to the Similan Islands on very homely vessel. MV Oktavia is one of the biggest vessels that operate around the Similan Islands built to hold thirty three guests, plus the crew. However, to ensure maximum comfort levels; the limit is just twenty guests.

Cabins

Twelve Blue Ocean Cabins: six double bed cabins, four cabins with two bunk beds, two family cabins with double bed plus bunk bed. Two Master Suites (twenty five metre Sq. with one double bed and option for two spare beds). All Blue Ocean Cabins have a central air-conditioning and are fitted out with fan as well; there are reading lights, shelf unit, two large windows for the wonderful views of our trip, electrical outlets, sheets and towels of course are included.

On fully booked cruises, single travellers may be required a cabin with another guest of the same gender.

The master suites are situated on the upper decks, all of which have individual air-conditioning and a fan as standard, double bed, desk/dressing table, two arm chairs, en-suite shower/toilet, hardwood floor, flat screen TV with DVD and a min-fridge. They cabins are spread over the width of the boat and have superb panoramic windows both port and starboard. The suites are the perfect size for families.

The Food

Thai and Western cuisine is freshly cocked daily day, and just because scuba diving is good for your physique the Oktavia staff and crew cannot promise that their guests won’t gain an extra kilo or two mainly down to the amount and quality of the food on served. Remember, all the meals are served buffet style and all food is inclusive.

18 Dives – 5 Days / 5 Nights

Departure Day – 1800 hrs departure from Khao Lak. Boat briefings and dinner on board as you cruise into the sunset. Arrive late evening at Similan Islands for a good night’s sleep.
Diving Day One – Diving at Similan Island No. 4 & 7. Overnight at island number 4.
Diving Day Two – Diving at Similan Islands 7,8 & 9. Overnight at Similan Number 8.
Diving Day Three  Diving at Similan Island No. 9, Koh Bon Island & Koh Tachai Island. Overnight at Koh Tachai.
Diving Day Four Diving at the famous Richelieu Rock plus Koh Tachai. Overnight again at Koh Tachai.
Diving Day Five – Dive at Koh Tachai and Koh Bon. Then cruising back to Thap Lamu. Back at about 1730 hrs for transfer back to your Khao Lak Hotel.

Diving Day One – 0800 hrs departure from Thap Lamu pier by speedboat to the Similan. You will meet up with Oktavia at around 09:30. Followed by Dives at Similan Island No. 9, Koh Bon & Koh Tachai. Overnight at Koh Tachai Island.
Diving Day Two – Diving at Richelieu Rock and Koh Tachai. Overnight at Koh Tachai.
Diving Day Three – Dives at Koh Tachai and Koh Bon. Then cruising back to Thap Lamu. Back at about 1730 hrs for transfer back to your Khao Lak Hotel.

7 Dives – 2 Days / 2 Nights

Departure Day – 18:00 departure from Khao Lak. Boat briefings and dinner on board. Late evening arrival at Similan Islands for a good night’s sleep.
